Rain Garden Installation

Rain gardens are a great way to conserve water. There are a number of different styles of rain gardens. When rain is captured from the roof of a home and makes it's way down the gutters and into the storm water drains, this water ends up in the ocean or more precisely - Port Phillip Bay. Ideally, this water belongs in the groundwater at the place where it fell, so it can be taken up by surrounding trees & shrubs. Rain gardens help facilitate the uptake of water from the surrounding environment. Rain gardens are also great at filtering water so sedimentation from the run-off does not go into our streams & rivers.
